Classified Ad Information

AD RATE: $.70 per word ($14.00 minimum) and includes publication in print and online. Email or website addresses included in your copy will be converted to hyperlinks, maximum of 2 per ad. Pictures are available for online ads and cost $2.50 each. A maximum of 4 pictures is allowed, and picture cost is in addition to minimum word cost. Pictures must be in .gif or .jpg format. Pictures must be emailed to classifieds@scurlockpublishing.com. Pictures will be set up to open in a new page showing your product only.

COUNTING WORDS: Common abbreviations such as USA or SASE count as one word. No non-standard abbreviations allowed. Hyphenated words count as two words. Web and email addresses count as one word. Ads with insufficient funds will be edited to appropriate word count.

COPY GUIDELINES: Objectionable advertising will not be published, and we reserve the right to change all copy to meet our standards. Please type or print all copy. No proofs will be furnished. If an error is our fault, we will insert a correct ad at the earliest possible date at no extra cost.

DEADLINE: The deadline for submission of online ads is the first day of the month, two months preceding the issue you want the ad to appear. Example: Deadline is July 1 for an ad to run September/October. Ads will be posted for 2 months to coincide with print publication of MUZZLELOADER, i.e. January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, November/December. Ads will be posted the first business day (Mon.-Fri.) of the month.

PAYMENT: Classified ads must be paid in full upon submission. To pay by check or money order, send your ad with payment to: Scurlock Publishing, Attn: Classified Ads, 1293 Myrtle Springs Road, Texarkana TX 75503. You can order your ad over the telephone with a Visa or MasterCard by calling (903) 832-4726.

EXAMPLE: The ad below is 28 words and would cost $19.60 to run for 2 months:

John Smith, RR 5 Box 347-H, Memphis, TN 75501, 901-993-0021, johnsmith@net.com. This is not a real classified ad. This is simply an example of an online classified ad.
