Because MUZZLELOADER focuses on traditional muzzleloading, this discussion site is also devoted to
pre-1840, traditional muzzleloading topics only. The Campfire is open to discussions about traditional, historical aspects of muzzleloading, reenacting, shooting, hunting and gunbuilding. Posts that are unrelated to traditional muzzleloading or associated activities will be removed. Contemporary products or methods are allowed if they pertain to traditional, open-sight muzzleloaders and/or historical reenacting and related activities.
This is a family-oriented site. Offensive language of any kind will be removed. Likewise, this is a true online community, so each member deserves to be treated with civility. Flaming won't be tolerated.
No advertising products for sale is allowed. Any posts concerning objects for sale will be removed. Discussions involving building or making items are welcome, as long as direct solicitation of sales is not involved.
While we certainly encourage all members to exercise their
constitutional right and privilege to vote, this is not a political forum
per se. Discussions regarding legislation and regulations as related to
muzzleloading and related activities are welcome. However, see notice regarding
civil discourse above.
